I will be using it for Gaming Ben but also some other stuff, I'm sick of PC's that aren't able to do all I want so the time has come to dig deep and do it my way or the highway! ;)

There are Graphics cards over £600 Ben, although you've got the watch out for the ones who charge stupid money without giving you, as a gamer any extra benefit over one that's say... a less known brand that can't come onto the market with stupid prices and no really proof of quality.

I guess the car version of this would be a Bugatti vs Smart Car, both get you from A to B at the same time roughly, when within the UK road laws ofcourse.

I shop at Scan too, with there Store only being 1 mile down the road it's worth the little walk to get that face to face service, online shopping is Evil :shifty: .

Oh, i know there are graphics cards that are loads of money, i just didn't know what you were going to be using it for.

You don't strike me as the gaming sort but then again, i don't really know you! lol

Sounds like it's going to be a supreme rig.

Ben

Haha, there's a lot you don't know about me :shifty:  ;D , to be honest Ben the types of Games I'm most interested in aren't the more common and stereotyped Call of Duty, Battlefield or Need for speed style of games for example, more so the slower Thinking games that require a certain degree of strategy and cunning, looking forward to playing a lot of games still in Alpha too and donating my few pence towards games I feel are up there with the greats coming out.

I honestly believe PC's are above the flat pack style consoles that come pre made and at a fixed quality range, not to mention when a new console comes out you have to "Invest" in it to continue gaming with new releases!!! bleeding scam!

Anyway, probably enough said in the Politics of Gaming

Looks like a good setup Dom, how does your little 500Watt PSU cope when running on a high output game/ media editing software ?

Also how did you find the MSI board for setting up ? I hear they are a bit more of a pig to install.

Ben, I'm sure Alan Sugar would be proud ;) looks like one of those anyway Haha DOS Monster

It runs the system perfectly  :proud:  I may think of upgrading to a slightly bigger modular supply

The board was easy to set up, even oc'd the cpu through the bios

Righty a picture or two here just to update you a little with what I've been upto.

The rear quarter window has been removed, I've built a temp roof over the side I'm working on over the mini and the rear quarter panel has been rubbed down and i'm part way through fillering the whole panel section and sanding, it's a long and dusty process which I've only done a bit of in the past before but I guess it's got to be done  .

I think I need to apply the filler with less pressure and a bit thicker if anything on the lower section, I have found if I giggle about as I skim it on there's less bubbling (or whatever you call the holes that appear).

Cheers,

Cliff
