72clubman - Is that the white one? Got a project thread?
That would be the one.
I haven't done a project thread for that one yet.
I was doing pretty much what you're doing with yours. Although with a few less panels!
It's currently tucked away in next doors garage! In the next 2 weeks it'll be getting a new home though. So when that happens I'm really excited to carry on where i left off about 3 years ago, and start a thread for it as well.

Boot floor and rear arches back in this w/e just to make sure everything still fitted ready for welding.
Thought I'd just pop the rear subby on just incase there was a problem. Result it fitted perfect.
Then welded the seat front strengthening lip into place.
Boot floor now welded to the heelboard and companion bins.
All ground down with a coat of primer.

Nice work, I'm looking forward to getting my boot floor welded in soon, another milestone!
Any chance you could do me a huge favour and measure up the centres between the turrets of the rear arches, they will be my next job and I'm not sure if mine as they stand are correct as they've been patched up and one side has some accident damage, also the holes in the jig were not quite a perfect alignment so had to do some fettling to get it bolted in and not sure if that's the jig at fault or my car.

achall - yep no probs when I get home tonite. I also had a problem with the jig and the rear arches but I knew mine was out. I did try the rear frame on the w/e and it fitted perfectly.
Ger
Thanks Ger, much appreciated, if your jig was tight too it could be that which is at fault in which case I may just correct the holes in the jig if my centres are already correct.

achall - Just checked now distance between mounting holes on the arches, 975mm. Distance between holes on rear frame 970mm. The trouble with mine was a hastily fitted repair panel to the damper mount, it was out front to back not side to side.
Fantastic thanks very much for checking that for me!

Right then. After my monumental *******up of my last attempt, and replacing the panel I damaged by not taking my time and getting frustrated, this w/e I took off all the rear panels back off and refitted them a bit more methodically. After many cups of coffee and several packets of biscuits this is the result. Still a few tweals but overall I'm pleased now.
