achall - I clamped the arches too high because I'd takent the rear bulkhead out and tried to force the lip of the passenger rear panel over the tub lip and creased the panel - not a happy chappy.

Have you got to re-do your holes for plug welding on the arches as a result?
Hope it's fixable without spending more money!

Removed the rear wheel arches in order to prep for welding.
Then filled in the holes on the bottom of the arch that I had drilled in the wrong place as I had placed the arches too high. I used copper as a heatsink/aid to help fill the holes.
All done and a spray of zinc primer.
Both rear arches and arch closing panels now welded in, welds ground down and the area sprayed with zinc primer.
And a bit of primer in the boot at the join to the floor.

This w/e the strengtheners for the rear inner sills were prepped and welded in.
]
Primed.
Refitted the rear subby just to check it still lined up with the mounting holes and removed the lower rear panel inorder to prep it for welding.
Holes drilled and primed ready for welding next w/e.

More progress this w/e.
Welded in both rear arch to floor brackets.
Cleaned up then primered.
Made a tank strap bracket as the original one was too far gone to use.
Then made a start on welding in the rear lower panel.
I was going to weld to the C pillars as well but run out of gas, so ground down the welds and primered.
