I think this thread points out something very important - 18 pages of prep work vs one page of paint! That's what you have to do to get a proper result.....

Brake and fuel lines run
Subframes, steering rack and tank painted satin/matt
I'm just fitting the rear subframe now.

Yep, 2K direct gloss.
Standox is the brand mixed 3:1 with 30% thinners applied with a 1.3 tip at 2 bar
The gun i used for this one was my Anest Iwata Air Gunsa AZ3 blue flash

Thanks Ben I'm currently using the Ani R150 with a 1.2 tip along with nexa autocolor. I'm just interested as seen to either get runs or loads of orange peel, maybe I just need more practice. Thanks and keep up the excellent workCheers.Not checked in on this project in a while.
