Yeh, I spoke to MLM Motorsport about the 1.5:1 rockers and the Ph3, to put a story short, the idel will be smoother, and the power will kick in lower, which is what I want.

Think its a shame really, I couldn't of spent the weekend sorting the enigne, as I could of done today antics yesterday, and got it all back in and going today, meaning I could of made it to the shootout, but unfortunatly, I will be fitting the enigne sometime this week, and I don't want to risk shoving the Van on the rollers yet, as its still 50 only miles old.

Never mind, perfection shouldn't be rushed



Also, considering I had dialed the SW5 to 107degrees, when I fitted the ph3, the first "see degree" it came out ot be 115degrees! Thankfully, with alot of going back n forth, I am now sat nicely at 107.75 degrees, once the chain slackens a bit from wear, I'll be bang on 108 degrees

Simon told me to have it dialed in at 110 degrees! I was gonna finish putting the last of the 1000 running in miles on mine this weekend but the wheel bearing is hanging and am gonna have to change it tomorrow at work, nothing is ever straight forward with a mini!

Well I have taken on board what AC Dodd @MLM has found, and he said 108 is best for it. So thats what I am dail in at.

Oh rite, we shall see then! I'm set up at 110, another slight difference! You should have it running tomorrow night then seeing as the evening are now lighter! Are you gonna be coming to the shootout anyway? Just not putting flubber on the rollers?

went to fit the fan belt, and it would seem, my altenater is fecked It won't turn So new alt coming my way....

well, it won't tick over correctly, my new oil pressure pipe doesn't fit my gauge, I can't get my upper ball joints in, and worse of all, when it did tick over, plonked my foot on the clutch, and the engine dies..... :xxx:ing Minis...
