Hi Willis

Not sure about the rust on the door, gonna have to be brave and take a sander to it to see what's under the rubbish paint/filler :w00t:

I'm going to fill the small hole in the front panel after treating the rust with the stuff we have in the shed, and treat/paint the other bits

And yes I've got odd seats :P It's a sore point! Minisport tell me my second Cobra Classic will arrive tomorrow :( I got a pair but one got damaged on the way here so they picked it up and Cobra are sending a replacement :) And I'd already fitted the passenger seat before noticing the rip in the other one :ermm: lol

(no Minisport bashing here please!)

If they're free I'll have them :P

If they cost any English pounds then I'm not wasting money. My mini is a CHEAP TIDY-UP project!

What would be the point spending more money on more wheels?! My mini has 10 wheels already (and the Fiesta 9) there would be a murder for sure if I went buying more wheels.

Besides I have seats and a holiday to pay for this month :(

Lol! I have to be harsh because there is no way in the world I could justify more wheels and I really don't need them because my mini is not and never will be concours so I don't mind him having an odd wheel :P

He's like a cat with a different coloured paw :( lol

I've gone off MiniSport >:shifty:

My new seat arrived today as promised, yay says I, running to the door.

Courier: "I need you to sign for it"
Me: "I'm checking it first"
Courier: "The docs are there" <points to doc wallet on box>
Me: "I trust it's in there but last time it was ripped"
Courier: "You have to sign for it anyway, I can't take it back, if there's a problem you have to ring them"
Me: "Grr. Fine" <signs and courier promptly does a runner>

Then I open the box, lift the lid and immediately notice a problem...

Me: "IT'S THE WRONG :D ING SEAT!!!!!"

>:)

No headrest holes! I wanted headrest holes! I've got a headrest waiting in the car but no :xxx: ing headrest holes!!!

Cue 2 phone calls (so far) to MiniSport today, a third to follow shortly before they close as they haven't rung me back as they promised, to find out WHAT THE :xxx: they are going to do about it >:D

No I've been standing up for them until now! Thing is they are reasonably good at getting things done, it probably wasn't their fault the first one was ripped, although it must be their fault that the wrong seat got sent to me, and now despite my hinting I don't seem to be getting any perks from them. Mind you, they're probably losing money over it because the original seat was heavily reduced in a sale and now they've had to order 2 new ones from cobra!

Still gone off them though >:shifty:

All Iwanted was a pair of comfy seats for my lovely mini :)

Pfft I hate companies like that.

If it was my company, I'd arrange for a replacement ASAP and probably send the customer a free gift just so they return. People wh obuy things from specialists like minisport are usually returning customers i.e. it's never usually a "one off" to buy things from them so they should make sure they get it right.

I've got my business head on today by the way, decided that I'm never going to make any money working for a company, being in charge of a company is the only way to make megabucks... sorry going off topic :shifty:

Erm £400 to buy and probably spent £5-600 on shiny things mainly lol. And he's a HE!! All my cars are boys :ermm:

Yes there is a dent in the boot :proud: It was bigger when we got it, dad bashed it out a bit :P

The guy said his son (for whom he'd bought it to learn to drive in) reversed it into a wall :P
