I've just replaced the front windscreen seal on mine and it really made a massive difference. Makes the front of the car look much fresher.

Just wish I knew about the tool before reading about it from you lot, I don't think my thumbs will ever be the same, that chrome fillet is one bugger to get in.

if i go ace with mini kel well do it all for u i fit windscreens for a living so will be done proper and doesnt take long

but ill only be there if my wife has the baby 2day if not could do it at smd if u take the car

He's not going Silvesta is doing SMD and Minty is doing MITP, they gotta take turns

The bargain of the lot tho has to be the chrome roof trim. If u want come chrome wipers, you might be able to buy mine or ill swap em for a little bit of storge space.

is this a full restorain or just a tidy up anyway the seats look nice just get a cream seat cover for the back

Quite a few people were looking actually and a couple asked how much and where from

It was great having people looking at my car Makes me feel proud, even if it was only for the seats or to marvel at what a heap it was lol. Mind you I think they had their fill of heap with Samwell's mini which had a majorly scratched bonnet after it flew off on the M40

I booked the MOT - it's on the 15th which I realised might be a bad idea because if it fails the garage is unlikely to have time to fix it before MITP so I'd have to leave it at home ... SHould I delay it until afterwards? I really wanted it done before but being so close before I'm concerned about not being able to take it

Put it in and batter your eye lids and blow kisses to the grease monkeys and they'll work faster!! My mini goes in today for an entire new front end and rear quarters work and a respray and I am still hoping to go MITP but I ain't blowing em kisses! PS your mini is looking lovely.
