We realised last night that the car was still MOT'd so we didnt take it, but it will be going for a full MOT next weekend (good job really as everything wasnt finished)
We got a lot done today, first of all we fired the engine up after we mounted the oil cooler in the front, but we had some problems. The pre engaged starter motor solenoid was knackered causing the car to keep turning over so this was changed for another which fixed the problem.
The car was then dropped down onto its wheels for the first time and driven out of the garage to rearrange a few things, felt good driving it even if i were just sat on a box

Im just gonna post the pics as im so tired i dunno what else ive done today lol i honestly cant remember....

Sat in the doorway to the garage, she smells the fresh air at last

An image i have been dreaming of for over a year....a car looking just how i want it

The back end minus a bootlid, dual exhaust is remarkably rather quiet to my surprise.....

The side of the car before a flat and polish and the rear end sat higher than what she was like

Some of the interior starting to go in.

Front end view, she looks so dusty and dirty

The cage, drums and callipers were sprayed on monday night in ST orange and then cage was fitted and bolted into the car last night.
The roof was prepped, by flatting down with 320 and then 600's to finish it off before applying a base black with a mint green pearl over the top then cleared. The finished article of the roof looks fantastic and really messes with your mind as from one angle it looks black, then blue and then grenn.

The drums and callipers painted in ST orange

Rear section of the cage painted up

The roof, black base with a mint pearl

Close up of the roof

Rear number plate lamp

The cage and rear seat fitted

Progress has unfortunantly been a bit slow with the car, im having some slight issues trying to wire in my clock for the rev counter so thats been giving me a bit of a headache for the last few weeks.
Ive picked up a stage 4 cylinder head 35-31 rim flow valves for 100quid so im gonna be fitting that this weekend all being well.
I should be putting the finishing touches to the car this week and this weekend so i can take it out for a drive properlly, all i will have to finish off then is the dash which ive got an idea in my head of what im going to do.
