Well its running . And its load, sounds sweet aswell, little issue with timing which meant it wouldn't fire up but solved it now, its roughly timed to just get it smooth, will be investing in a timing light to get it spot on before maiden voyage.

New car is a 2000 Honda Civic, yes im going JDM, still keeping my minis though. Need to pull this one off the ramp Friday so I can service it.

lol. Got an extra month dude? Thats how long is took me to get it running, engines been in since beginning of may. Faffing about with buying pipe work and fixings etc

MOT'd, Taxed (already insured).

Let running in commence, gave it a little blast down the local dual carrageways this morning and sounds really nice and has already got some grunt with the timing retarded (for safety really, as I have no timing light), had a little issue yesterday with running temps, got to 3/4 of the guage, but bleed the system this morning and its alright now, stays about half to just above when sitting in traffic in this heat.

A current picture of the motor, got to fit the bonnet badge but im liking the de-badged look at the moment, but got to hide the holes for the time being until I do some spraying jobs again.

Mike recently brought one dude, so Ive managed to set it roughly, as long as I know where its at, I can wait until I get it on the rollers now.

It wont be yet Andrew, need to run it in before it goes on, but I say within a few months I'll get it booked in, will do the oil change and check over before hand, then we can have some fun with figures . It pulls well now, with the timing and fueling whacked out, so once its tuned I reckon it will be a screamer.

Will be trying aldon this time round, see what they are like.

Still having issues with the rocker cover and the rockers tapping against it, ground out 2 little casting marks on the back of the cover but its still knocking, it disappears when I push the cover back slightly, so it cant be hitting that much, think I'll enlarge the holes next, hating the noise ATM, just doesn't sound right, even though its not bad.
