yet again the funds have ran dry so have been tidying up small bits on the shell. i have mounted one of the bonnet pins for the front but my cheap £2.99 pop rivet gun decieded to give way after 2 hard rivets! the aerocatch works well with holding the front down, and are certianly easier to latch on when securing the front end with the body. they may need a bit of adjustment to pull the front in.

in all for the whole setup (drive flanges, vented discs, calipers, ebc pads, braided hoses, and caliper spacers) it was something like £430, with my 5% discount of course.

some more pics for you will

firstly and aerial shot of the car, to show you where the tile hit

Posted Image

i have been sorting out several things this weekend, but mainly i have been sorting out how i will get the fuel from the tank to the front. 8mm copper fuel lines show do. my car won't be run stupidly low, so i see no danger in running them under the car.

Posted Image

and at the rear i have use a filter of a ford focus, should be up to the job.

Posted Image

the exhaust system is almost finished, just a mock up at the moment, also i have alter the pipe leading to the back box to bring it up more. one more thing, as unique as this is, it isn't my idea. i have seen it on a mini before, and i used the influence of the tvr sagaris. should be mounted properly next weekend

Sorry mate, but the exhaust spoils it. Minis are small and the exhaust looks out of proportion. Don't get me wrong, I think the your mini is mint, apart from this. Hide it and make folk think 'normal mini'. Lights (traffic), camera (Hopefuuly not the polis), bye bye..............................everyone else
