Steve, why dont you just throw some of the tiles back at your neighbours window and just blame it on the wind

Like the cooper pipes, i know they only pipes, but i like how they look long and straight running underneath , top job!

Exhauust...not too keen on it, that size would be maybe cool in the boot and stick out but not where it is :) but i do want to see it go ahead too

Keep it up :( ty for pics

i'm having second thoughts about the exhaust too. i might just go for a normal maniflow side exit, but i'll have a look at the play mini one.

£400 to fix it, same body shop that painted it. i'm sorting out the engine wiring at the mo, i also need to wire in the fuel pump. should be able to start it up within the next few weekends.

also i must say the search button is very handy! needed some help with the wiring, and behold i found some!

not to worry, the interior has grey carpet. i plan on getting bucket seats with 4 point harnesses. both in black, and a carbon dash to match the carbon door cards, and i've got some felt like material for the roof lining. the 6-point cage inside is purple. i not really a fan of flashy interiors, with colours all over the place! but i would like some more storage space.

not that kind of storage space! i'm not having rear seats so i've got room to throw stuff in the back. but i want compartments in the car that i can hide stuff away in. theres only so much i can put in the boot, with 2 tanks, and a spare.........

hi steve just a note on tha exhaust. I think you may have problems with putting it through an m.o.t.
Although i may be wrong i was under the impression only so much exhaust can be protruding from the rear?

Something to consider though.

Steve, how much space you got in the back with the rollcage in too?

Do you have side pockets? Or you could make somekind of carpeted box which is almost unseeable to put stuff in, maybe valuables if you gotta go somewhere?

the rear cage takes up a third of the rear pockets, so i can fit about 2 cans in, i'm using that for bits anyway. i could do with door pockets (carobn ones!) or i might see what i can conjure up under the dash. i've moved my heater to the passanger side, so i've got room under the switches for a custom console of some sort.

your right about the mot thing nosboy, my mate who recently wrote off an r1, has a exhaust i can have, so i'll see what it looks like with a smaller one, if it still protudes too much, i'll go for an rc40 jobbie.

one more thing, i got a letter from the dvla the other day, thanking me for telling them the car is scrapped or has changed owner  ????? i only sent off the v5 to notifiy them about the changes to my red 998
