ive been cleaning up the NSR corner, we cut the rust out and now im making repair sections from a donor estate shell.

We have made a fibreglass lower rail where the back doors shut againist, as this part is no longer available and mine was rusted. we used the donor car to make the mould, looks good, ill have to get some pictures.

New welder bought
New grinder bought
New welding mask and gloves too

and picked up some extra storage tonight, thanks to gumtree, a set of clarke tool boxes (tool chest, mid box and roll cab). not the best but ideal for storing mini specific tools and some other crap as the main tool box is getting over-run.

OSR window frame cleaned back using flapping wheel, treated with anti rust (there wasnt any anyway) and painted with red oxide paint.
Bonded the fibreglass van panel in place and left to set with the help of the heat lamps.

Going to get it looking like a van for the local shows in the summer, to show people how the fibreglass panels look.

New welder set up, just need to sort regulator so i can start welding. Container cleared a little and stuff now relocating into the toolbox as i find stuff.

clutch bits arrived, so can fit the flywheel/clutch, lock up the flywheel to torque up the timing gear and flywheel nut.

already cleaned gasket face on the timing cover so should go together quite quickly in the morning. then ive got the head to start on.
