Had a clearout to make space to put my daily in when im using the mini. I wasnt able to get my daily car in which caused problems of where to park it.
Shelfs knocked out, boxes sorted, stuff skipped and bingo....
it fits.
Means mini can come out more often once weather improves.

Bit of prep before cutting holes and then finally flocking.

3 clock speedo setup infront of driver in the raised pod. This is also removeable for access to wiring etc.
Radio in the hole ofcourse.
Above radio, 3 x 52mm aux guages.
Passenger side raised pod will be removeable to access wiring etc again, thus removing the need to remove dash for any maintenance.

Today i dropped the heater unit out to replace the fan.
Also replaced the locking choke cable whilst I was there.

Rattle from heater fixed, tightened screw holding it to lower dash.
Oil change with some lovely 20w50 halfords oil.
Lifted front suspension to stop scraping on hard cornering.
So far so good, nearly ready for the mini adventure weekend in June.

Happy days mate, I had to the lift the rear as that scraped when the road was a little bumpy.

shoes renewed
brakes/hbrake adjusted up.

brakes re bled as i wasnt happy with pedal, seems better though didnt see any air.
Timing adjusted, oil and coolant topped up.
Less than 1 week to go to rolling road, so ive gave it a rest for afew days (parked up while MG ZR gets its mot)

well the towbar stayed on pulling the trailer tent. Ready for the mini adventure weekend this weekend.

Swapped exhaust from playmini stainless steel to RC40 twinbox, bit less noisey for the neighbours.

Ripped out the dashboard and top dash rail to make way for the new dashboard n gauges.
Repaired lower dash rail, loose trim with couple of new clips on NS
