The rear cones were pretty shot (originals) so I bit the bullet and replaced the lot. Whilst out the knuckles, ball joints and bump stops were also replaced:

Rear valance was replaced and needed a new closing panel (it looked like a rusty mole has bored up from the wheel arch):

I decided on Wood and Pickett arches. These were trail fitted before the respray. The front wings had to be cut for the 12x6 wheels with a lip reformed for strength and originality:

How easy are the W&P arches to fit? I'm leaning towards these myself....

I got the easy fit ones from MiniSpares. They were not that easy to fit apparently! The reason being the wings, which were cut and re-fabricated to clear the 12x6 wheels.

Yes, I am well pleased with them. My plan is to keep them black (probably sprayed) to match the new black roof. Hoping it will look good.

Okay, big leaps forward this week. We have primer and paint:

Doors ready for final flatting (note one has a blob of paint on):

The shell has been prepped and primed (no photos on me at this time). Now in paint and drying:

Next up is flattting and the all new black roof!

Thanks. It's coming along. That looks great! Which blue is that?

I believe it's called Electric Blue, was a standard Rover Sprite colour.

Went to the workshop today and the stone chip has been done:

And I deadened the roof and stuck the original felt back on. I also added some foam around the edges to keep the bars in place:
