Fully lightened and Balanced 1380 with a smart performance stage 3 head and a piper 285 cam. Gonna have SC drops and a weber so will be loud as!! Got a X-Pin diff to go in there aswell for peace of mind!!

Hoping for somewhere round the magical 100bhp mark, and should think being a 1380 have around 100lbft torque aswell. So will shift!

Sounds nice mate. I was thinking of a similar spec off chris aswell so you'll have to let us know the figures :).

I've got a weber 40 in the garage thats going on it...its a second car so i'm not too worried about low end driveability and fuel economy, so thought weber would be the best bet!

Been looking at cooling bits and bobs tonite.

Has anyone had any experience with either of these two ali rads, very well priced but just wondering if that compromises on the quality??

I've got one on mine, it's absolutly supurb. Realy good quality. And keeps my car nice and cool.

Although the ones you linked too, have been said to be worse quality, with a plastic wing nut underneath as the drain plug.

I bought one of the ones from cool nuts racing.
Here

People have compared them and said they have been better quality, although I've never seen the ones you linked too.

I used to have heater and the electric fan on when driving in the summer, I was driving flat out and it was sitting at 75 degrees all day. They're brilliant.

Well its been a while since i've posted anything up on here!! Seems like every hurdle than can occur with the new engine build has! Hopefully will be picking up the last few bits and bobs for it this weekend and can start on bolting it back together!

Got bored while waiting for engine bits so i've bought a few other bits for it got a roof rak off ebay and a fibreglass boot on there aswell now so saved a bit of weight there!

On a different note...i've now put in a non servo master cyilinder but the pipes I bought mean the bias valve needs moving in a bit...have any of you lot got any tips for re-mounting the valve (was thinking of making a plate that bolts to the original mounting point but though it'd be a bit of a bodge!!)??

dash looks pretty sweet and the autotest looks like a chuckle! with regards to the brake bias valve could you not just get yourself some longer pipe instead of moving it?
