Back onb the road!!!!! Proper happy cause it passed the MOT yesterday....not a good day for mini driving though, wet and miserable and the roads were full of walkers cause theres this mass walk weekend thing on round wellingborough!

Got a couple of bits and bobs to finish for L2B to get it lookin a bit nicer. Need to put my front arches on so I can put the wellers back on and need to plumb in the heater, wire up the stereo and trim my doorcards to match the dash.

Finished the interior today, so decided to take a couple of piccies! x







Hopefully will have the heater plumbed in and a stereo wired up for some warmth and music for L2B. Need to paint the passenger door still cause its black/rusty atm but not sure if i'll have the time to do it before the weekend.

love the dash, if you dont mind asking what speedo cable did you use as im guessing the standard cable is no where near long enough to move over that far?

I have used a two piece cable once before to move the speedo that far, I think it was off an Austin 1100. It also made it much easier to remove compared to silly Mini standard one.

Well it made it to Brighton and back!! With only a little breakdown in the morning at CP, proper worst time to be trying to fix it hungover after 4 hours kip!!! The first switched live on the ignition wasn't working so i had no fuel pump, thankfully had my rac card so got the bloke to leccy check it all and found the fault. The dude looked like something out of harry potter though!!

Just wondering what you did to remove the Pin Stripes down the sides of the car? Are they just stickers?

Went out with one of my mates in his golf the other night and took a few pictures.....I need to de-rust & paint the front valance, never noticed how grotty it is under there!!









Sent the gearbox off to be reconned now, so i'm hoping by the end of the month i'll have the new engine in (not sure if it'll be running cause I want to make sure its all sorted properly before I turn the key!!!)
