6months nearly passed since purchase, tax renewed :o

Driving a mini daily, 6months and touch wood not a single issue to cause alarm. Been years since ive solely owned and driven a mini so doing well i think, although abit of pre-maintenance helps.

Drivers side wheel arch rubber trims fitted and sill trim.

The sportspack rubber trim which sticks on, is frankly useless! well the stuff minisport sent me is, it isnt the right size for the holes. Eg the holes in the rubber dont match where the studs are. The sticky stuff isnt sticky enough and simply peels off and leaves the rubber to fall off.

Will have to do passenger side another day, as need to take the tank out etc.

Lost clutch on way through to workshop. Managed to get there without stopping so checked it over....loose banjo bolt.

Tightened, everything double checked, fluid topped up and bled, spot on again.

Keep an eye on the banjo bolt incase it happens again, though i suspect it was me who didnt tighten it fully in the first place lol

Well all black wheels now fitted,

NS arch trim and sill trim fitted

Gear / handbrake gaiters fitted

Interior sold :o

Secured down the fibreglass parcel shelf as it moves when going over bumps at speed.

Fitted a mobile phone holder to top dash rail so i can see if people are ringing me, as i dont hear it over the exhaust noise lol.

Flasher unit renewed, hazards working again.

Happy motoring.

Started cutting up a fibreglass console you get with them dashboards.

Idea is to fit some 2" gauges in it, just below the heater.

Because these are made to fit with a dashboard, it doesnt line up with a standard dash....so out came the grinder....
