Had some random older fella follow me tonight, from blaydon upto crawcrook (gateshead). He came along side and gave a thumbs up :)
Few bits and bobs to do at the weekend, hopefully get the back end lowered a little as its too high. Got new knuckles and cones eariler in week and ive had the hi lo's for ages.

Is it just my brain or has the spray booth changed ? Looks totally different in some pics yet the same as it always was in others ?
My dads mate has just bought a shorty, it's the blue one with the silver hard top and comedy spoiler, was that Garry's ?

2x cones for rear
2x knuckle joints
1x set tiebar bushes
1x poly engine steady bushes
1x set tiebar bolts/nuts.
Dug out the rear hi-los tonight so all the bits there ready for weekend. Even dug out another set of tiebars which are straight, just incase mine are bent or anything. Better to be prepared espically when doing the work at home and the lockup is 15miles away.

New poly engine steady bushes fitted (bulkhead one was a nightmare as usual, had to cut bolt out and use new bolt)
Was going to do Hi Lo's on rear but didnt get chance due to doing heater matrix, thermostat and coolant change on my brothers corsa. Fiddly job that heater matrix on them, bit like doing the clutch/brake master clevis pin's....laid in a similar position.

Anyway, ive ordered some black sill trim to go between the arches also so will do them both together.
Car as been driving really nicely, even the dark mornings with everything on. I think I will make a weather sheild just to protect the connections as ive got electronic dizzy anyway, aswell as a new fan belt and adjustment ready for any winter weather we may have.
That second hand rear heated window is a god send, the old one had broken elements and never demisted. This one works brilliantly. Makes them cold mornings alot easier.
Need to put some fasteners on the fibreglass speaker shelf as it bounces a little on bumps and i hate rattle noises.
