 ......Mpi's are space age! The ability to drive in the rain, twin speed heaters, lollipop safety door bars, intermittent wipers......totally radical! :D

TV programs rebuild and respray cars in 60 minutes! Pull ya finger out Jordie!

The race is on! You can do it!

its been abit of a nightmare week, plans all gone to ****.

Should have been painted by tuesday, but delays ment it only got painted yesterday. So now its rush to get things bk together, sportspack arches didnt come with the arch strip, even though minisport says they do. No nuts either, M5 nuts if anyone needs to know that for minisport replica sportspack studs.

The weekend found welding work, had to remove the A panel to do a repair and replace with a new A panel, this was unforeseen and though it wasnt massive work, it was extra work non the less.

Today was ups and downs, stuff went on nicely and looks good. Other stuff like headlight bowls, rivets were too small, used bigger rivets but they were hard to put it and resulted in the rivet gun hitting body when it went "click" so small scratch, grrr. Should be able to touch in with a nail and some fresh paint.

Sound deadening to go in tomorrow, should be nice as the car basically had nothing but carpet in. LOUD.

Well its together, few scratches when putting glass in, but its in. all windows with new rubber seals

Drivers door top hinge needs adjusting, so door needs to come off again.
Wheel arch rubber needs fitting when it comes, so arches coming off again lol

Need to put a couple of screws in, drill o/s door for mirror mounting and clean up some overspray on the glass, but otherwise its done. Drove it home with alot of people looking :)

Needs lowering next....

Will have to wet and dry it, and polish once its fully hardened to give it a shine and get rid of some "orange peel" areas.
